ChicagoLand Popcorn has just started the approval process for Franchising. Your inability to franchise with ChicagoLand Popcorn is due to the ongoing approval process.

A franchise is a significant business agreement that requires considerable review and fulfillment of various legal prerequisites. While the approval process is underway, Chicagoland Popcorn has to abide by rules and regulations that limit its ability to commit to franchising arrangements.

Only licensee agreements are permitted at this stage. This strategy allows both parties to collaborate professionally while ensuring legal compliance during the evaluation and approval process.

The initial investment for equipment and build-out varies and is primarily dependent on your location and the scope of the build-out needed. Broadly, it might fall somewhere between $75,000 and $175,000. However, please note that this estimate can increase when taking into account any state and local permits or certifications required for legally operating your business. The costs of these permits and certifications will need to be factored in the final costs.

Yes!  The Indiana Popcorn School’s Gourmet Popcorn MasterClass is required for potential Licensees because it walks you through the ins and outs of running a gourmet popcorn business, regardless of your experience level. You’ll gain valuable knowledge, resources, and strategies to start and grow your business through varied avenues, such as online platforms, mobile pop-ups, or traditional physical stores. The MasterClass, a comprehensive one-day training, equips you with the requisite skills to launch and manage a successful popcorn business, whether a novice or an advanced learner.

While many individuals are interested in partnering with CLP, we also acknowledge and support those who desire to acquire the knowledge to open their independent popcorn shops, separate from any partnerships or agreements.

While the standard cost of the MasterClass is $4,995, we believe in giving extra value to our confirmed Licensees. Therefore, if you’re an approved and confirmed CLP Licensee, you’re eligible for a special discount, and the MasterClass investment will only be $2,995.
